T party - the good kind!

Clement and I took the T downtown today to see off his godmother Em on the train.  This was Clem's first time on both the bus and subway and he did great.  We came well prepared: snacks, a change of clothes, and small gaga.  At first on the bus Clem looked a bit dazed:
But he loosened up and by the time we got to the subway he was an old pro:

When we got to South Station it was pretty crowded to so I did the #55 thing on my pre-kid list of things I would never do, all of which I actually now do: put him in the little "harness & leash." It actually worked out great, he could wander with a certain amount of freedom and I could keep him from running onto train tracks.  Everyone wins!  Here he is waiting for Em's train with her & her mum:

And on the way home he was so psyched he did a little dance to amuse the other passengers:

New Years walks

It's been a while since we posted, so here's three in one day!

We took some nice walks at New Years - Prospect Park and Stonehurst.  Clem was bundled and loved looking at and eating snow.

There were lots of birds and planes to look at too:

Clem got a bit tired with all this exploring and walking so we all went home to relax and snack heartily!

[Crazy] Christmas

Clem got his frist real illness two days before Xmas this year - a stomach bug.  He didn't get better until late Xmas night, so needless to say the holiday was a little hectic, since we still took him to NH in hopes of a speedy recovery.  I don't even have pictures from the big day, but I do have a few of him playing with cool new stuff and not barfing on it!

Here he is on Xmas day, sleeping off his stressful holiday:

And a few days before, we were walking in the park, and found that something was missing in the creche:

What's everyone looking at?  The camera angle is not the best to see that it is in fact an empty manger.  I tried to get Clem to lay in the middle and be adored by all, but he wouldn't.  Was it his innate sense of propriety?  The next day some soulful soul placed a much-loved and worn babydoll in the place where the divine cradle should have been.  The effect was creepy but no doubt heartfelt.  We got this walk in just in time for snow!  A few days later we kept the divinty theme going with Clems first snow angel:

Celebrating Elvis' birthday

So Clem has some nice long hair.  In honor of the Kings birthday, we combed Clem's hair into a pompadour and listened to Elvis all day.  Here he is practicing his sneer:

Long Live The King!
